How To Use IdeationX
A step-by-step guide to getting the most out of the platform, whether you're a founder or an investor.
For Founders
1. Create Your Account
Sign up with your email and select "Founder" as your role. Complete the 3-step onboarding to set up your profile.
2. Build Your Startup Profile
Go to Settings → Startup tab. Add your company name, tagline, industry, stage, funding target, and team details.
3. Discover Investors
Browse the Investors directory. Filter by type, sector, and investment stage to find the right match for your startup.
4. Send Connection Requests
Visit an investor's profile and click "Connect". Include a personalized message to increase your chances.
5. Start Conversations
Once connected, use the Messages page to chat directly with investors. Share your pitch and answer questions.
6. Schedule Meetings
Go to Meetings → Propose Meeting. Select your connection, pick a time, and add a meeting link (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
For Investors
1. Create Your Account
Sign up with your email and select "Investor" as your role. Complete onboarding with your investment thesis.
2. Set Up Investor Profile
Go to Settings → Investor tab. Add your firm name, type, focus sectors, preferred stages, and ticket size range.
3. Browse Startups
Explore the Startups directory. Filter by industry, stage, and location to find promising companies.
4. Connect with Founders
Visit a startup's profile and send a connection request. Review their pitch deck and team before connecting.
5. Evaluate & Communicate
Message founders to learn more. Use your Portfolio page to track all connected startups in one place.
6. Schedule Due Diligence
Propose meetings directly through the platform. Confirm, reschedule, or cancel as needed.
